Child Custody Battles In Covid Times
With emotions as strong as ever, my divorce proceedings are not settled – and not just the ones concerning custody – in certain respects that are usually resolved. Moreover, since conflicts are more severe than normal, now too much, parents who separate or divorce use their children’s dispute to get points against their former spouse. Worse still, these wretched partners are sometimes stuck in the same house without usual limits between life and job or reside in different households, but don’t look at the safety of COVID-19 in the same manner, triggering an accelerated breakup. When we marked one year from the first shelter directives, almost no portion of divorce has been unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
